How many CoolSculpting Elite treatments are needed?
Your aesthetic practitioner will be able to determine the appropriate amount of sessions. While you will see up to a 25% reduction in fat in the treated area after a session, results can vary from person to person, and most people require multiple sessions for a full result. Most patients receive anywhere from 4-8 sessions for optimal treatment.
What is the CoolSculpting Elite treatment like?
At your complimentary consultation, your aesthetic practitioner will do some measurements and ask a few questions to be sure you're a good candidate for the treatment.
First, your CoolSculpting Elite aesthetic practitioner applies a gel pad to your skin to create a barrier between the cooling device. Then, an applicator is placed over the pad, with a slight sucking sensation as it adheres. Next, you will feel a cooling sensation, and you may notice mild pinching, tingling or intense cold, which will go numb after a few minutes. Then, the applicator is left on for a set amount of time and you can relax. After the treatment, your aesthetic practitioner will do a brief massage to break up the treated cells and enhance your results.
What areas can CoolSculpting Elite treat?
This treatment is suitable for visible, 'pinchable' bulges that don't respond to diet or exercise. CoolSculpting Elite is approved for the submental (under chin) area, thighs, abdomen, flanks, bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks and upper arms.

The area to be treated must be 'pinchable', and large enough to fit into the suction cup of the CoolSculpting device.
